Sonic Adventure Remake would add new content to connect SA1 and SA2 together. Eggman, Tails and Gamma all control similarly but Gamma is a lot faster than both, Big doesn't have any gameplay since his story was removed. Amy would have her normal gameplay, Shadow and Rouge would be reskins of Sonic and Knuckles respectively, and Eggman will be exclusive to mech stages.
Tails' gameplay would be a mix where you sometimes play a mech stage, and you sometimes play a normal stage, while Knuckles has his treasure hunting gameplay from SA2 but with the SA1 radar system and with hints in both SA1 and SA2 portions. The gameplay would be relatively similar to SA1's gameplay with some SA2 abilites like the bounce and the somersault, but the somersault is mapped to a button other than the spindash, Sonic would have physics similar to SA1, allowing him to spamdash and gain a bit of momentum.
For Eggman, he would instead make out his new plans and heads to the G.U.N facility in a flying segment. Knuckles and Tails, they would be hanging out together in Tails' workshop until they get interrupted by the news saying that Sonic is caught. For Sonic, he would be casually chilling in a beach until the sigma helicopter finds him and captures him. The story is basically the same as SA1 and SA2 but however, after the SA1 portion of almost everyone's story, a small cutscene would be played showing how they acted before the SA2 portion happened. The game contains the storyline of both SA1 and SA2 connected to present a complete story of both games. This character mod replaces Chaos 0 with Sonic the Werehog using a completely custom model with it's own unique sound effects to boot during, 1P gameplay, the ranking screen, and even 2P battles. Infused with all-new abilities, Werehog has now been unleashed upon SA2! Transformed inadvertently by the power of Dark Gaia, Sonic turns to this beastly creature only at night. When the sun goes down, Sonic the Werehog rises.
